 Instruction  to Candidates   

The candidates allotted to the Tamilnadu Circle by Postal Directorate, regarding the Direct Recruitment of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant from the CHSL Examination, 2015 conducted by SSC are directed to submit their order of preference (Annexure-II)  for the allotment of respective Division /Units at the time of verification of documents and certificates on the dates allotted to there vide Annexure - Ill  at  O/o, Chief Postmaster General, 

Tamilnadu Circle, Chennai — 600002.

2.          The category wise vacancy details for Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant for the year 20l5-16 is enclosed in the annexure-I.  Also the instructions letter has been  individu ally  sent  to  the

 candidates by post.

The candidates has to attend the following address

      1*' floor, O/o Chief Postmaster General,

     Tamilnadu Circle,

    Opp. To Shanthi Theater Bus stop,

    Above Anna Road Head Post Office,

    Anna Salai,

    Chennai — 600 002

3.   The candidates who do not submit their order of preference on the prescribed date shall be allocated to Divisions/Units only based on the availability of the vacancy in the category for which he/she has been selected, after allocation of Divisions/Units to all other candidates, who submitted preference to Divisions/Units.

The allotment of Division /Unit by the Department is final and the change of Division/Unit will not be entertained, after final  allotment is made.

4.   It  is  also  to  inform  that  all  the  candidates  allotted  to  the  Tamilnadu  Circle  has  to attend the O/o Chief Postmaster General, Tamilnadu Circle, Chennai 600 002, for  

 verification  of  certificates  and  documents  on  the  dates allotted    to  them. While attending
 the   certificate verification the following documents should  be produced in  originals    and  a    self      attested    copy  of  the    same.

3. I) Proof   of      Date     of   Birth

II) Educational qualification certificate obtained as on 01.08.2015(as per the notification issued by Staff Selection Commission)

        SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format approved by the Government of India (OBC certificated  in the  prescribed format issued between 14.07.2012 and upto 09.01.2016 only will  be accepted)

iv)  Candidates availing age relaxation should submit their supporting documents 

v)  Candidates selected under Persons with Disability /Ex-servicemen quota should produce the supporting documents such as Disability certificate, ex- servicemen certificate etc.

vi) The result sheet showing marks, rank, roll No, category and name of the candidate as furnished by the Stat Selection commission.

5.      After completion of verification of documents the allotment of Division /Unit will be finalized or the date allotted to the candidates by the single window system as per the merit, the preference given by the candidates and  well  as  the availability of vacancies.
